Press release submitted by Rollstone Bank & Trust
Rollstone Bank & Trust (RBT) recently donated $15,000 to the United Way of North Central Massachusetts (UWNCM). Proceeds will provide fuel and general assistance to those in need. Record cold temperatures this winter, along with natural disasters such as Hurricane Maria, led to increased requests for services from agencies throughout North Central MA.
“As a Bank invested in our communities, RBT takes great pride in supporting local organizations that make a positive impact on so many people. The United Way of North Central MA is one of those organizations,” said Martin F. Connors, Jr., President & CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “We are fortunate to have such great health care in our area, and are pleased we can help them continue their mission.”
Connors added that recently implemented reductions in the corporate tax rate will allow RBT to give back to an even greater extent than it has in the past. “The tax cut provides us the opportunity to continue and even expand our investments in our region, customers, and employees,” he said.
Since 1846, Rollstone Bank & Trust has been serving the people, businesses and organizations of Central Massachusetts and continually earns 5-star rating for safety and soundness. It has 8 offices, located throughout Fitchburg and Leominster, as well as Harvard, Townsend, and Worcester. RBT can be found on the web at RollstoneBank.com.
