At 4:30 p.m. burned food set off a fire alarm at the General Store. At 11:55 p.m. Harvard firefighters took the tanker and Engine 4 to help with a building fire on White Pond Road in Lancaster.
Wednesday, April 21
At 11:07 a.m. an alarm sounded at a business on Saratoga Road in Devens, caused by a fire burning under some mechanical units on the roof. Engine 4 and the tower truck from Harvard worked at the scene for about two hours. At 1:42 p.m. Engine 2’s crew went to Warren Avenue to help a homeowner whose house had been hit by a falling tree. At 3:26 p.m. Harvard firefighters were called to a brush fire along Route 495, but the call was canceled when the fire was put out.
Saturday, April 24
At 3:48 p.m. the tanker and Engine 4 were called out to help fight a 1.5-acre brush fire on Hudson Road in Bolton.
Monday, April 26
At 12:25 p.m. a caller reported a possible gas leak or carbon monoxide in the house; the officer on duty checked the home with a meter and found no problem. At 3:38 p.m. smoke from a wood stove set off a fire alarm at a house on Mill Road; a firefighter went to the scene and made sure everything was all right.
