Harvard Fire Chief Rick Sicard released the following statement around 11:30 a.m. this morning:
“National Grid is continuing efforts to restore power to the remaining roads without [power]. All power should be restored today. If your power has not been restored by noon today call National Grid at 800-465-1212 for the automated line, or to talk to a representative call 800-322-3223. Also call Harvard Dispatch 978-456-1212 so we can follow up for you as well. FEMA has not authorized any funding for cleanup in town, therefore please do not bring any brush to the roadside as this will impede any future snow removal efforts. Please be careful when walking outside for there are numerous hanging branches that have not yet come down. We have 2 crews currently taking these down and we are also working on acquiring additional resources to aid in this effort.”
