On Sunday, Dec. 31, from 8 p.m. to midnight, the Friends of the Council on Aging will sponsor Harvard’s “First, First Night,” an evening of festive fun and dancing at the Fellowship Building on Elm Street.
This one-of-a-kind New Year’s celebration will offer guests (ages 18 and older) versatile entertainment, a variety of hors d’oeuvres, and a dessert buffet. BYOB. Starting at 9 p.m. there will be live music for listening and dancing provided by “Time Traveler.” The group, which is steeped in funk, soul, pop, rock, R&B, hip hop, and jazz, is led by Steve Peisch, with vocalist Suzanne Buell.
