The speeches have been given, the awards passed out, the caps and gowns turned back in, and the new crop of Bromfield graduates prepares to head out into the world. Some will go to summer camp, some to work, and some will just hang out by the pond and take a well-deserved break, before heading off in the fall to take on the serious study of life.
We will miss reporting on the records they’ve broken, their amazing science projects, their performances, and their achievements. But we wish them well as they step onto the world stage to set more records and pile up amazing accomplishments, causing the rest of us to step back and say, “Man, look at that!”
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
