We wish Lucy Wallace well as she steps down from the Board of Selectmen after 12 years. Eloquent, as always, she left the board with these parting words:

“… My plea to the community is to be respectful of your leaders—they are giving a lot of time. And my plea to my fellow board members is to be respectful of one another.”

We couldn’t have said it better.
