It certainly looks like a job well done by the Planning Board and Housing Partnership to figure out how we can use existing affordable housing to count as state and federal affordable housing. Of course there will be some wrinkles to iron out and more frustration along the way, but the home rule petition is a display of leadership the town’s not seen for awhile to deal with the complicated issues that face it.
