Small towns don’t lose their newspapers because there isn’t enough news; they lose them because bigger publishers can save and make more money by regionalizing their reporting and advertising. Harvard has lots of news that the Press hasn’t been able to cover in its six months of existence, but we have high hopes of correcting that. First of all, we’re thrilled to be adding news editor Bill Latimer to the team, and secondly, we look forward to many responses to our help wanted ad in the General Store classifieds for residents to report news. There’s no better way to make a difference in your town than to work for its newspaper.
