What an impressive show the town put on for the Fourth! More people showed up than ever before. Floats and marchers represented longtime Harvard organizations like the Garden Club, Harvard Help, and the Woman’s Club; our police, fire, and ambulance crews; businesses like Westward Orchards, Carlson Orchards, and Sotheby-Hazel real estate; service organizations like Rotary and the Lions Club; scouts of all ages; and even the Unitarian and Congregational churches. Minutemen from Groton and Acton showed up, as did a PBS film crew. All in all, it was a fitting celebration of the town’s 275th birthday.
