A puzzle awaits residents who tear themselves away from family and seasonal distractions to attend a meeting this week to review designs for the renovation of Town Hall and Hildreth House.

 The Municipal Affordable Housing Trust is contributing $11,600 to stave off bank auctions of The Inn and Great Elms, said trust member and Selectmen liaison Ron Ricci Friday morning.

A workshop next week could be the only chance for residents to have a say in how Town Hall and Hildreth House are configured and how far they will be allowed to stretch to accommodate town programs.

As he attempts to gain support for his company's plan to turn the former military housing at Vicksburg Square in Devens into 246 rental apartments, 80 percent of which would be income-restricted affordable housing, Trinity Financial president Jim Keefe met with the Press for an interview on Friday, Dec. 2.

Foreclosure auctions scheduled for Dec. 8 and 15 at The Inn and Great Elms have been postponed until January, according to William Marshall, president of the foreclosing lender, North Middlesex Savings Bank.
