The Bromfield boys indoor track team capped an undefeated season with a first-place finish last Wednesday in the Midland Wachusett League Division C championships.

Outstanding performances by every swimmer contributed to the Trojans' best-ever league meet result: second place behind Algonquin Regional High School and well ahead of both Wachusett and Gardner.

At their home court, the Bromfield Trojans defeated the Maynard Tigers in a competitive and physical game on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The Bromfield boys varsity basketball team now holds a respectable record of nine wins and three losses.

The Bromfield Lady Trojans showcased their defensive strength and effective offensive strategy at home Tuesday night with a victory against the Murdock Blue Devils, 55-23.

The Bromfield girls basketball squad put up a fight with strong defense against the West Boylston Lions Friday, Jan. 20, but fell 10 points short in their toughest game of the season.

It came down to the last minute of play, but Bromfield varsity boys basketball came away victorious, 40-38, at Hudson last Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The Bromfield boys and girls indoor track teams both won their meets against Gardner on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Fitchburg High School indoor track.

With a score of 46-36, the Bromfield Trojans defeated the Littleton Tigers in boys basketball for the first time in four years last Tuesday, Jan. 10.

On Tuesday, Jan. 10, the Bromfield girls varsity basketball team beat Littleton High School at Littleton with a decisive score of 53 to 41.

Both the Bromfield boys and girls indoor track teams defeated their Murdock opponents Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Fitchburg High School indoor track.
