Wednesday, December 7
At 6:37 a.m., police investigated a case of vandalism on Old Littleton Road. Someone had spray painted “H20” twice on the road with silver paint, police say. Police are also investigating a series of complaints on Old Littleton Road from last week. No one has been charged in the incidents.
Thursday, December 8
At 2 p.m., police received a report of two vehicles parked on conservation land near West Bare Hill Road. Police report there was nothing suspicious about the vehicles.
Friday, December 9
At 11:33 a.m., the principal at the Bromfield School turned over to police drugs he had confiscated from a student’s car. According to police, the drugs were marijuana and prescription pills. The student’s parents had opened the car for the principal, police say. According to police, the incident is under investigation. At 4:22 p.m., a Harvard resident came to the police station to report a domestic incident involving a woman, a child, and an ex-husband. Police say because there was no evidence of an assault, they were unable to pursue the matter further. At 7:58 p.m., a resident of Old Littleton Road reported hearing gunshots or fireworks going off nearby. Police searched the area but didn’t find anything.
Saturday, December 10
At 9:33 a.m., a resident of Poor Farm Road told police a vehicle had driven up to the house and its occupants asked if the resident wanted any tree work done on the property. According to police, the solicitors checked out as employees of a local tree company. At 2:56 p.m., a resident of Myrick Lane reported a similar incident. At 8:38 p.m., police investigated a vehicle that was parked after dark at the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge on Still River Depot Road. Police sent the vehicle on its way. At 8:50 p.m., police investigated a car parked after dark at the overlook on Prospect Hill Road. Police sent that car on its way.
Sunday, December 11
At 1:31 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Brown Road. According to police, the two cars had sideswiped each other going opposite directions. There were no injuries and the cars were still drivable, police say. At 2:53 p.m., a resident of Bolton Road reported a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside the home. The vehicle contained several boxes, the resident told police. Police searched the area but did not find a vehicle matching that description. The resident called again at 6:41 p.m., but police were again unable to find a vehicle matching that description. At 5:14 p.m., a driver on Ayer Road reported seeing a vehicle driving erratically getting onto Route 2 eastbound. Police notified the Massachusetts State Police. At 7:04 p.m., police got a report of a horse loose on Old Littleton Road. Police contacted the horse’s owner, who returned it to its stable.
