Invitation from Nashoba Park Assisted Living
Come for a tour, a gourmet luncheon, and entertainment at Nashoba Park in Ayer. The date is Thursday, Oct. 13, and the festivities begin with the tour at noon. Let the Council on Aging know if you need a ride. Reservations are required; call the Council on Aging at 978-456-4120 to sign up.
On the road with COA

- Friday, Oct. 21: Seniors will travel to Salem to follow the history of witches, witchcraft, and witch hunts throughout the ages and especially the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Lunch will be at a favorite waterside spot, and the cost is $12.50. The trip will leave at 9 a.m. and return by 3 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 3. The group will take a behind-the-scenes studio tour of WGBH, the PBS radio and TV station. We’ll see production studios, performance spaces, and more. After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we’ll visit the MIT Museum in Cambridge. The trip will leave Hildreth House at 9:30 a.m. and will return by 4 p.m. Cost is $10 plus lunch.
Chair and Gentle Yoga
Starting Thursday, Oct. 13, at 4 to 5:15 p.m. we will offer another session of Chair and Gentle Yoga with Barbara Rich. The cost is $24 for four classes. Call the COA office to sign up.
