Searching with Google
In a class offered by the COA last winter, Mike Peters and Adam Miller shared their expertise using the free online services that are available to Internet users at the well-known web site Google. Following the success and popularity of that session, the COA is now offering a new class on using Google with an emphasis on search.
Google has improved in recent years by adding subtle new features to allow for faster, easier, and more accurate retrieval. Join the COA at Hildreth House Friday, Oct. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to learn simple, yet practical, search techniques. Bring two or three search topics to work on. Call the COA office at 978-456-4120 to sign up. Class size is limited to ten.
