Be prepared when disaster comes calling

Ruth Bull of the American Red Cross will be at Hildreth House Tuesday, April 12, to discuss disaster preparedness, as well as the disaster response services that they can provide to the community. Call the COA to sign up.


On the road with COA

Call the COA office at 978-456-4120 for more detailed information or to sign up for trips. Anyone who cannot afford a trip can contact the office about a scholarship.

  • Wednesday, April 6: COA travelers will head to the Deerfield Inn, a traditional country inn built in 1884 and located in the center of the 35-year-old National  Historic Landmark village of Deerfield. The group will have lunch, then tour the village, followed by stops at Williams Sugar house (if they are still making syrup), Richardson’s Candy Store, Yankee Candle, and more, if time allows. Cost is $5 plus lunch. The van will leave Hildreth House at 10 a.m. and will return by 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30: Reserve tickets now for this trip to the Citi Performing Arts Theatre for a matinee performance of Grease, one of Broadway’s greatest hits. The group will leave Hildreth house at 9:30 a.m. and return by 4:30 p.m. Cost is $78, required with reservation. Tickets are limited.
