Learn to use tax software
The COA will offer an introduction to the use of popular tax preparation software Friday, March 4, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the computer lab at Hildreth House. There will be an overview of the different products available to address tax returns from the simple to the complex, as well as a review of how they can be used to prepare a hypothetical tax return. Class size is limited; call to sign up.
On the road with COA
Call the COA office at 978-456-4120 for more detailed information or to sign up for trips. Anyone who cannot afford a trip can contact the office about a scholarship.
- Thursday, March 10: COA travelers will head for Boston to take in a rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. James Levine is scheduled to conduct works from Schoenberg and Mozart. The group will leave Hildreth House for Symphony Hall at 8 a.m., in time to arrive for a preconcert talk. A late lunch (1 p.m.) will be at the Chessecake Factory. Return to Harvard will be by 4:30 p.m. Cost is $23 in advance, plus the cost of lunch.
