Farmers’ Markets—’tis the season

Last weekend marked the opening of the Harvard Farmers’ Market, which will be open through October on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon, in front of Hildreth Elementary School. But if you can’t get there Saturday mornings, there are other farmers’ markets in the area that are open on other days of the week:
- Acton-Boxborough Farmer’s Market, open Sundays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Pearl Street in West Acton.
- Fitchburg Farmers’ Market, open Tuesdays, 3 to 6 p.m. and Fridays, 8:45 a.m. to noon in the Wallace Civic Center parking lot, John Fitch Highway in Fitchburg.
- Lancaster Farmers’ Market, open Thursdays, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bolton Fairgrounds, Route 117 in Lancaster.
- Marlborough Farmers’ Market, open Thursdays, 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon at Bolton Street and Route 20 in Marlborough.
- Sterling Farmers’ Market, open Fridays, 3 to 7 p.m. in Sterling Center.
