Stanislaw Dziewonski of Old Littleton Road called police at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, to report that he had just arrived home from work and found his wife unresponsive in the couple’s pool. First responders were on the scene within four minutes, and attempts were made to revive the woman with CPR. At 6:22 p.m. Mrs. Dziewonski, age 83, was transported to Nashoba Valley Medical Center, where attempts to revive her were unsuccessful. The Massachusetts state police arrived to investigate, and the state medical examiner’s office was contacted. An autopsy is planned to determine the exact cause of death.
