Motorcycles collide on Prospect Hill Road

Harvard police and emergency medical teams from Bolton, Harvard, and Ayer responded to an accident scene involving two motorcycles that collided on Prospect Hill Road Saturday around 3:30 p.m.

Both bikes were heading north when Walter Page of Worcester, driver of a red Ducati, signaled to turn left into the overlook area. James Vann of Vermont, driver of the second bike, a Corbin KTM SMC950 that was traveling behind Page, did not see the turn signal and pulled out to pass, striking the Ducati on the side.

Both drivers were seriously injured. Page was taken by LifeFlight to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester; Vann was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. He was also issued a citation for speeding.
