The Horse The ground shakes The stars spin Eyes like flames That tickle the earth Mane and tail Laughing with the breeze Flying sets a mind at ease He is powerful yet curious Focused yet playful Everything but nothing yet And this horse means so much to me But I haven’t met him yet We will gallop the earth Fly over the trees Sail through the clouds And the seven seas We will become one and nothing will hold us back We are golden We will fight We will try our hardest With all our might Some days may bring us down But in the end we will persevere And hold our heads high One day we are proper and impeccable On top of the world The next we are contained and mysterious As people wonder “What will they do next?” Then we are soaring over fields Sailing through woods A confident gleam in our eyes An inseparable bond Stronger than nails He makes me laugh I make him smile I can confide in him For he always listens And as the world passes by We will sit and wonder why God blessed us with each other.
