Superstar Productions will present three performances of Annie Jr. January 12, 13, and 14 at Bromfield’s Cronin Auditorium. Adapted from the Tony Award-winning musical Annie as part of the Broadway Junior Collection™, this children’s production stars two dozen Harvard third- through fifth-grade students under the direction of Kate Hoch and Amy Babcock, with musical direction by Deborah Prince Smith.
The cast has been working on the show since September as part of an after-school drama workshop offered twice a year at the elementary school by Superstar Productions, whose directors have over 20 combined years in musical theater. The show features professional artistic and musical direction, choreography, set and lighting design, costuming, live musical accompaniment, and more.
Performances will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 12, and Saturday, January 13, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 14. Tickets are $6 at the door; admission is free for children under 5. For more information, call (978) 456-6933 or email annie-jr@charter.net.
